Charlie Hebdo   ( French pronunciation: [ʃaʁli ɛbdo] ; French for Charlie Weekly ) is a French satirical weekly newspaper, featuring cartoons, reports, polemics, and jokes. Irreverent and stridently non-conformist in tone, the publication is Strongly antireligious  and left-wing , publishing products on the extreme right , Catholicism , Islam , Judaism , politics , culture, etc. According icts form editor, Charb (Stephane Charbonnier), the magazine's editorial viewpoint Reflects "all components of left wing pluralism, and Even abstainers."              
It Appeared first from 1970 to 1981 When It folded, goal Was resurrected in 1992. Most recent Charb Was the editor, holding the post from 2009 Until His murder in the terrorist attack on the magazine's offices in 2015. His Predecessors Were François Cavanna (1969 -1981) and Philippe Val (1992-2009).      
The magazine is published Every Wednesday, with special editions Issued on an unscheduled BASIS.
The magazine has-been the victim of two terrorist attacks: a firebombing in 2011 and the killing shooting on 7 January 2015 , in which, DURING THE weekly editorial board meeting, Suspected Islamic terrorists fired upon and killed several Collaborators as well as visitors and two Police officers at the newspaper's Paris office.   

The day after the attack, the remaining staff of Charlie Hebdo announced That Would publication continued with the next week's edition of the newspaper to Be Released on the usual schedule.
