New N. Korean Leader Could Rule by September

The world should brace itself for a new "Dear Leader": The Daily Beast's Philip Shenon reports that the CIA is scrambling for information on Kim Jong Un, whom he says could succeed his father Kim Jong Il as the leader of North Korea within weeks. North Korea's recent executions of three Pyongyang officials indicate internal maneuvering, and the 69-year-old Kim Jong Il is believed to be gravely ill. Kim Jong Un is believed to be in his late 20s, is Swiss-educated, a fan of Hollywood, and, Shenon says, "just as ruthless as his father."
